Email Archiving
As more and more education authorities and schools turn to webmail as an email solution, control of the communications flow is being lost. Any account holder can delete, edit and forward their mail, making investigations of communications and accurate record-keeping difficult.
Put simply, Spider will store copies of all inbound and outbound email sent by any of your registered email users in a secure storage location. No action taken by the end user can delete or alter the contents of that archive, and mailboxes can be restored on demand in the instance that POP users suffer a hard drive failure, or an account needs to be investigated.
